Privacy Policy

PicTinker is designed to process supported images locally in your web browser. Your image files are not uploaded to our servers for editing.

Image processing

When you select, edit or export an image, the current tools perform that work on your device using browser technology. Closing or refreshing the page clears the active editing session.

Information we collect

The current service does not require an account and does not ask for personal information. We do not intentionally collect or store the images you process.

Voluntary feedback

You can choose to send feedback without creating an account. PicTinker stores the rating you select, any optional comment you provide, the general page path where feedback was sent, and a broad device category such as mobile, tablet or desktop in a database hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure.

PicTinker does not store your image, image filename, image metadata, exact device identifier, email address or analytics client ID with feedback. Cloudflare may still process infrastructure data associated with the network request as described below.

Hosting and technical data

The site is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may process limited technical information such as IP addresses, request details and security signals to deliver and protect the service.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

PicTinker uses Google services including Google Analytics 4, Google Consent Management Platform and Google AdSense technology on eligible non-privacy pages. These services may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses, browser or device information, and other identifiers as permitted by your consent choices, Google settings and applicable law.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to PicTinker or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on the user's consent choices and settings. Users can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings.

Google may receive information when its tags are loaded even if a visible advertisement is not shown. For more information about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, PicTinker uses Google’s consent management platform to ask about Google services where required. Google Consent Mode communicates the choices made in that message to Google Analytics and advertising services. Google Analytics 4 loads only when analytics storage is consented to.

For visitors outside those regions, Google’s European regulations message does not apply and is not displayed. Google Analytics currently loads by default for those visitors. Google Analytics helps us understand general usage, such as which pages are visited, approximate device and browser information, which tools are used, and whether exports complete successfully.

PicTinker does not send the images you select, edit or export to Google Analytics or Google AdSense. Image processing continues to happen locally in your browser.

Where the European regulations message applies, you can change or withdraw your choices by selecting “Privacy & cookie settings” in the footer. This reopens Google’s consent message using Google’s documented revocation function.
