No. Metadata inspection and image export happen locally in your browser.
Can it detect GPS metadata?
PicTinker checks common EXIF, PNG and WebP metadata containers for location indicators. It reports Unknown if a file cannot be parsed reliably and never displays exact coordinates.
What does the downloaded file contain?
The browser creates a new JPG, PNG or WebP without the original EXIF, GPS, XMP or text metadata. PicTinker may add the print DPI selected in the editor.
Does this change my original image?
No. The original file on your device is not modified.
